15 years ago I speculated in buying minor league sets containing the first cards of promising first year professionals. This year the 2000 UTICA BLUE SOX TEAM SET has emerged from the dusty vault and conquered the market. Take a look at Ebay, I am offering my share of the lightly printed (about 3000) edition by offering them to my customers at a significant discount. I broke 5 sets to offer as singles and kept the rest sealed. As to the contents of set lets just say that no minor CLASS A league baseball set contains the first printed cards of two present day Hall of Fame Calibre stars. I am talking about the incredible MIGUEL CABRERA the thumper ADRIAN GONZALEZ as well as the veterans JOSH WILLINGHAM and DENNY BAUTISTA.      |
